Practical Parenting Partnerships (PPP) is a comprehensive approach to parent involvement in schools, created in 1992 by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. PPP offers a framework for building home-school-community relationships through training, a variety of resources, networking, technical assistance, monthly newsletters and other professional development opportunities. PPP works with nearly one-half of Missouri’s school districts as well as districts and agencies in 11 other states and Canada to promote and strengthen the role that families play in student academic achievement. PPP is recognized as a leader in education in Missouri and is a recipient of the Missouri Primary Education Award.
